Who is responsible

Miles Design Studio is a trading name of Sam Miles, an independent designer based in Cardiff, Wales. For privacy questions, email contact.milesdesignstudio@gmail.com.

What the website does

The enquiry fields are not submitted to or stored by this website. Selecting “Prepare enquiry” creates an email draft in your own mail app. Nothing is sent until you choose to send that email.

This website does not currently use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies.

Information I receive

If you send an enquiry, I receive the name, email address, selected service, project details and any other information you include. I use it to respond, discuss your project, prepare a quote and take steps you request before entering into a contract.

Lawful basis and sharing

I handle enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract. I may also keep relevant records for legitimate business interests or to meet legal obligations. I do not sell your information. It is only shared where necessary with service providers used for email or business records, including Google, or where required by law.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are normally deleted within 12 months. If we work together, relevant project, contract and accounting records may be kept for up to six years, or longer where required by law.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction or objection where those rights apply. Contact me using the email above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
