Website design
and redesign
in Cardiff.

I’m Sam, an independent designer based in Cardiff. I design and build websites for businesses big and small, across South Wales and beyond.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or your existing website no longer reflects your business, I can take the project from structure and design through to build and launch.

Discuss your website

How I can help

A website that fits
where you’re going.

01

New websites

From a focused landing page to a complete business website. Make your services easy to understand, show your work and give visitors a clear next step.

02

Website rebuilds

If your site feels dated, is difficult to use or has outgrown its original layout, I can rethink its structure and rebuild it around your business today.

03

Focused improvements

Sometimes the right starting point is a clearer page, better navigation or a more usable mobile layout. I’ll review what’s there and establish what’s practical on your existing setup.

From first idea to finished website

Clear scope.
Direct communication.

You’ll work directly with me on the brief, design and feedback. Each project has an individually agreed scope and fixed price before work begins.

I’m based in Cardiff and work with businesses throughout South Wales and further afield. Email and video calls keep the process straightforward wherever you’re based.

Working together

From brief
to launch.

  1. Brief, scope and quote

We discuss your business, your existing website if you have one, and what you need. I set out the deliverables, costs and proposed timing.

  2. Structure and design

I organise the content and create the layouts. You review the direction before we move into the build.

  3. Build and feedback

I build the agreed pages, check them across screen sizes and work through the agreed feedback rounds.

  4. Launch and handover

We check the final content and enquiry routes, launch the website and cover the support and guidance included in your proposal.

Before we start

A few useful answers.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes. Send me the link and explain what isn’t working for you. I’ll look at whether focused improvements or a fuller rebuild makes sense, including what can be retained.

How much will my website cost?

Every project is quoted individually. The number of pages, functionality, content and work involved all affect the scope. You’ll receive a clear fixed quote before work starts.

What do I need to provide?

Any existing branding, your service information and photographs you have permission to use are a useful start. We’ll identify content gaps together and agree who is responsible for each part.

What about hosting, domain names and ongoing costs?

We’ll agree the platform, account ownership, hosting arrangements and any recurring costs in the proposal. Ongoing updates and support will be scoped explicitly so you know what is included.

Can I hire you just for the design?

Yes. If you already have a developer or agency, I can provide Figma layouts, responsive UI, reusable components and prototypes, with the handover agreed around their needs.

Do I need to be based in Cardiff?

No. I’m Cardiff-based, but I’m happy to work remotely with businesses elsewhere in the UK and beyond.

Your next step

Tell me what
needs to change.

Share your existing website or your plans for a new one. I’ll review the details and come back with a sensible next step.

What the website does

The enquiry form sends the details you enter to FormSubmit, which processes the submission and delivers it to my Gmail inbox. The website shows a confirmation after the submission has been accepted.

This website does not currently use analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies.

Information I receive

If you send an enquiry, I receive the name, email address, selected service, project details and any other information you include. I use it to respond, discuss your project, prepare a quote and take steps you request before entering into a contract.

Lawful basis and sharing

I handle enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract. I may also keep relevant records for legitimate business interests or to meet legal obligations. I do not sell your information. Enquiry details are shared with FormSubmit to process and deliver the form, and with Google to provide my email service, or where otherwise required by law.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are normally deleted within 12 months. If we work together, relevant project, contract and accounting records may be kept for up to six years, or longer where required by law.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction or objection where those rights apply. Contact me using the email above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
